The SERVYECO Grupo possesses the latest technological advances and an important human resources component made up of technical specialists in various areas connected to water. Using knowledge management in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology and Environmental Sciences, we are developing biotechnologies, chemical products and innovative treatment installations for preserving public health and protecting the environment. The latest projects undertaken:

2009-2011 Development of innovative technology and participation in the consortium led by AITEX together with ATEVAL, UPV and PASCUAL Y BERNABEU S.A and presentation to the European LIFE+2007 programme titled Legionellosis: Risk Reduction to Public Health from Environmental Sources using Biotechnology in the Textile Sector“. This project was co-financed by the EUROPEAN COMMISSION " Directorate-General of the Environment".

2008-2009. Project title “Investigacion Sobre Las Aplicaciones De Nuevas Moleculas De Biocidas Y Su Sintesis Industrial” (Research on Applications of New Molecules of Biocides and their Industrial Synthesis).
The project aim was to research the biocide capacity of the THPS percarbonate and THPS persulphate modules developed in previous research and design their synthesis on an industrial level. This project was selected and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER).

2006-2007 Project title “Desarrollo E Implementación De Biotecnología Innovadora Para La Prevención Integral De La Legionella” (Development and Introduction of Innovative Biotechnology for the Comprehensive Prevention of Legionnaires Disease).
The project aim is to develop an innovative technology for providing a definitive, comprehensive solution for prevention of Legionnaires Disease in at-risk installations by creating a chemical biocide product for eradicating the bacteria when found in the water of the installation (corrective system). It also aims to develop a complementary physico-chemical unit based on photocatalytic ozonation for eliminating the bacteria through disinfection when the supply comes from natural reservoirs and before the supply systems are channelled through water distribution networks (preventive system). The current project was selected and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER).

2003-2005 Project title “Desarrollo De Tecnología Innovadora Para La Eliminación De Contaminantes Orgánicos Y Borácicos, En Aguas Residuales Industriales Propias Del Sector Cerámico Y Sus Afines” (Development of Innovative Technology for Eliminating Organic and Boron-based Pollutants in Industrial Wastewater of the Ceramics Sector and Related Industries), commissioned by the Centre for Technological and Industrial Development (CDTI). Objectives: By doing this project, the SERVYECO Grupo research team developed technology allowing for a reduction in the pollutant load in the wastewater created by the ceramic sector and related industries: reduction of the colloidal matter load, due to the development of synthetic coagulants as alternatives to the current ones, and of organic material and the boron-based components that are customary in this sector.
