REVERSE OSMOSIS
The membranes of the reverse osmosis installations receive the addition of salts and organic material depending on the type of water used. These compounds have a considerable influence on the performance of the units, since the efficiency of the system decreases due to the formation of incrustations and organic biofilms which increase the degradation of the matrix and negatively affect the production of the reverse osmosis water and energy consumption. To counter this, SERVYECO has developed a line of specific products to prevent these problems, improve performance and guarantee appropriate longevity of the membranes.

Antiscaling agents
OSMOTEC OSMOTAX Series
The antiscaling agents for reverse osmosis units are used to prevent the obstruction of the membranes by deposits of Calcium, Magnesium and Silica crystals on the external surface, in the pores or between them. This contamination causes a greater accumulation of precipitates in the membranes, and the consequent increase in the required pressure increases energy costs, cleaning operations and limits the useful life of the membranes.

Cleaning agents
OSMODIX – OSMOTAC Series
When an obstruction of the membranes occurs due to contamination, it is necessary to analyse the problem and define a procedure for action in order to determine the type of cleaning that has to be done. Depending on the characteristics of the deposits, specific products will be used according to whether the origin material is organic or inorganic.

Biocides
OSMOCIDE OX – OSMOCIDE NX Series
Biocides are used to prevent the formation of biofilm. When we determine the added water exceeds the recommended maximum microbial population, it is necessary to take action with products that efficiently reduce the micro-organisms. To do so, we choose the most appropriate biocide according to the characteristics of the water.
