Servyeco will attend the 20 th International Salon and irrigation water and 10 lounge environment SMAGUA 2012 in Zaragoza Fair. There will highlight its advanced oxidation pilot plant (project LIFE +) and present the development of plant coagulants (Series ECOTAN) for the treatment of wastewater.

SERVYECO wins a public tender in Andalusia for the treatment of circuits against legionella at the prestigious Hospital Universitario Virgen del Rocío and related centers.

This prestigious hospital, the Hospital Universitario Virgen del Rocio is the largest in Andalusia and one of the largest in Spain. It features the most advanced technologies and depends on the Andalusian Health Service (Department of Health). It employs over 8000 professionals and its annual budget amounts to almost 535 million euros.

This fact solidifies SERVYECO’s expansion in Andalusia through its delegation and consolidates our leadership in the Spanish public sector.

ENVIRONMENT AND SOCIAL COMMITMENT PRIZE

SERVYECO won last week the “Company of the year 2009 - Environment and social commitment prize”, which is awarded each year by “El Periódico Mediterráneo”

After been nominated three consecutive years, Servyeco won this valued prize, thanks to the respect for the environment and the current research, based on the development of an innovative treatment system against Legionella.

SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH OF AN ECOLOGICAL DESINFECTANT SYSTEM FOR INDUSTRIAL WASTEWATER

The primary objective of the new treatment system, recently developed by the company, is to reach the antiseptic and disinfectant properties of the system. Fighting Legionella, removing at the same time some bacterium which are situated in the water, coming mainly from frits and glazes, is the main issue of the current research, as is published at the IMPIVA web page

This project was co-financed by the EUROPEAN COMMISSION "Directorate-General of the Environment" led by AITEX together with SERVYECO, ATEVAL, UPV and PASCUAL Y BERNABEU S.A., with the aim of developing an innovative technology for control and prevention of Legionnaires Disease in the 2009-2011 period.

The SERVYECO analysis laboratory is certified in accordance with UNE-EN ISO 14001:2004 regulation for distribution and sale of chemical products, installation and maintenance of water treatment installations, and treatments for preventing Legionnaires Disease.

SERVYECO gives the 6th and 7th official training courses for personnel responsible for performing the hygienic-sanitary maintenance of installations at risk of Legionnaires Disease in the Castellón Chamber of Commerce.
