ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

It is a general duty to try and make the demands of economic and industrial activities compatible with upholding the maximum respect for the environment. Protecting the environment is a commitment the SERVYECO Grupo willingly assumes, establishing an environmental policy applicable to all activities of the organisation. The basic principles governing the environmental policy of SERVYECO Grupo are:

- Protection of the environment. Protecting the environment is an important responsibility for management and demands responsible behaviour from all of us. Goals and specific directives regarding environmental performance are established for all areas of activity of the company.

- Commitment to applicable legal requirements. We openly commit ourselves to compliance with current environmental regulation and other legal requirements related to our environmental aspects. Consideration of current legal requirements related to environmental production are guaranteed in company decisions and their application through the measures adopted.

- Continual improvement of environmental performance. Our commitment to continual improvement and pollution prevention seeks improved environmental performance, taking into account the techniques of the processes applied and the products used. Better use of natural resources is promoted by using the best technologies, minimizing in this way the creation or emission of any kind of pollutant or waste.

- Management. The environmental management system is integrated with the overall management of SERVYECO Grupo. The system contains regulations, manuals and instructions as well as evaluation and audit procedures. We revise the state of environmental management in our company periodically, with the aim of detecting weak points and taking the necessary actions.

- Training and raising awareness. The environmental awareness of all SERVYECO Grupo personnel, including those performing work in its name, will be continually encouraged through appropriate training and awareness programmes. We train employees about environmental aspects tied to our activity and each one of their functions so that they are conscious of the possible adverse impact of their work, thus allowing them to improve their environmental performance.

- Providers and contractors. We progressively incorporate interested parties into our efforts to improve environmental protection. We inform our providers and contractors of our environmental policy and require their commitment to comply with those directives.

- Communication. Communication with public authorities, local administrations and the public in general is fluid. We are spreading the word about our environmental policy and responding to legitimate demands for information.
