Foams may appear in the cooling due to the chemicals used in their preservation or during maintenance stops, causing problems in the pumps, level sensors... For that reason the use of antifoams is highly recommended.

Application

These products are liquid chemicals used depending on the formation and persistence of the foam formed in the water circuits.

Advantages 

·         Technical advantages

These antifoams are versatile products presenting high efficiency for a wide range of pH, including in highly alkaline conditions, also avoids fouling by deposited solids in foams which eventually become persistent. They are effective in the presence of cationic and anionic products.

·         Competitive advantages

The use of antifoams in the cooling circuits avoids breakdown, especially in the transfer or recirculation pumps because in the presence of foams these equipment can work without the necessary water level.
